The Dairy for Research and Training can be used to run varying mechanical and thermal processes individually or in combination on a pilot scale. This enables us to replicate technical processes of milk processing and develop and test innovative technologies.

One unique aspect is that the institution has an EU permit (BW-100) for placing food on the market. This allows research ideas and findings to be implemented as real products that can then be tested in human and sensory studies. The Dairy for Research and Training thus provides for a quick transfer of innovation to society.

All technical centers with pilot plants
